Jason Butler, MD

Interventional Pain & Sports Medicine

Dr. Jason Butler specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of chronic and acute pain. He is best known for his thoughtful and personal approach to patient centered care. He understands the importance of getting to know his patients, asking questions and listening inventively, to gain a better perspective for their particular situation. Once he understands their pain, he explains the different treatment options available to treat it; from the most conservative care to more advanced options. Once a diagnosis is determined, Dr. Butler works with his patients to create a customized treatment plan specially tailored for their unique situation.

  • Dr. Butler is Board Certified in Family and Sports Medicine and specializes in Interventional Pain Management. He earned his Medical Degree in 2007 from the George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, D.C., then completed his residency and fellowship at John Peter Smith Hospital Fort Worth, Texas. 

  • Experience

  • Dr. Butler has over 15 years of experience in diagnosing and treating pain and continues to stay up-to-date on the latest technology in pain management. Prior to opening his clinical practice, he served as a sports and pain specialist for several sports organizations including Texas Wesleyan University, Texas Christian University, Hotter ’N Hell Hundred and the Golden Gloves. He has also served as the team physician for several area high schools.

  • Dr. Butler holds memberships with several local, regional, and national medical societies, including the Texas Pain Society, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine, Texas Medical Association, Tarrant County Medical Society, Texas Academy of Family Physicians, and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
